Choosing a Mountainboard

How do you choose the right board?

It is a matter of  height, weight, age, ability, and style of riding. But mostly it is more a case of personal preference. The following guidelines will help you choose the best board for you!

Riding Style:
Freestyle: Jumps, short tracks,  grinding and tricks.
 F117, Varmint,
UniCamb
LiteCamb, Prolite , Prolite Jr, Rage

Downhill:  Big Carves, downhill riding, Resort riding. Slalom 132Giant Slalom 152Rage, UniCamb, F117

Riding experience: 
Beginners can safely jump on just about any board. Try to match terrain and prefered riding style.

Height:
Just like any sport, taller riders should look to longer boards. Again look more at your riding style though.

Weight: 
These weights are a general guide. 
   
120 lbs or less:  F117, Varmint,
LiteCambJunior Slalom, ProLite Jr

121 - 175 lbs:  F117, UniCamb, Slalom 132Rage,   Prolite

176 - 250 lbs:  F117, UniCamb , Slalom 132, Giant Slalom 152
